The hotel is nice, and has great Wi-Fi, a bar/lounge area, and friendly staff. They helped me find a jewel I lost on my first stay, which I really appreciate. I'm coming back for Christmas!

The place is clean, the room is cheap, the staff is amicable. The location is unbeatable and magnificent, near a pub. Plus, it's in Finsbury Park district, right by overground railway, a train station and shops. ...

Nearly is a park, and Underground station
We only slept at the hotel after an active walk, the room is very stuffy and you can not ventilate. First day (that been Sunday) I'm not given access to the Internet

Put this on your radar
If you're seeking a budget-friendly stay with character, this spot is a gem! Located on a lively street with a friendly pub below, it's perfect after a long day. Rooms are comfy with clean sheets, and the bar staff are an absolute delight. Just keep in mind it's not a luxury retreat.

Location good with great access to both buses and tube into London,
Paid for a luxury room with superb views over city,(there is no luxury room-no city views-in fact no city- just a scam to get more money for a room) our friends paid a lot less for a standard room which was better than ours, which was sub-standard. we emailed the 'boss' who said she would offer us another room-we never had any contact with her. we feel we should be reimbursed at least 100pounds as that is what the difference was between our friends standard room and our so called luxury one.On departure we were forced to carry 2 large heavy suitcases 50 steps down the fire escape as the staff don't start work until 12md. We left at 10am.

We had a 'Luxury' room (which I think is just a room with en suite) everything was clean and tidy, bed was comfortable and toliet/shower facilities were excellent!
My only complaint was during our stay building works were taking place in the hotel which meant my sleep was interupted by banging and drilling at 9am. (Wouldn't have been so bad but we had a late heavy night)
